Mauro Busuttil has been training taekwondo since 2007 with a special dedication to the sparring and competition side of the sport. He was a member of the Malta Olympic Elite Scheme and had represented Malta on high profile competitions such as the World Championships in Russia (2015) and South Korea (2017). His emphasis on sparring lead him to attend almost monthly foreign training camps during the past two years even training under two Olympic Gold medalists, Carlo Molfettta (Italy) and Steven Lopez (USA). In his career, Mauro has been competing and training in various countries such as Italy, Greece, Holland, Cyprus, UK, Korea, Russia, and Germany, He feels a need and satisfaction in sharing such valuable experience and knowledge in the club leading by example the future generations.
Mauro Busuttil holds a bachelor degree in Communications (Hons.) & Psychology as well as two Masters, Business Administration Marketing and MA Integrated Marketing Communication. He is currently working within a law enforcement department under the government of Malta.
