Josianne Formosa has started practicing Taekwondo at the age of 19 years and she holds a 2nd Dan Black Belt. She has been involved in the Dragon Academy (Taekwondo Dragon Club at the time) from its inception, almost 22 years ago. She is an instructor, coach and also forms part of the administration team of Dragon Academy.
She served as a Treasurer and a Secretary of the Malta Taekwondo Federation, during the period in which Master Christopher Vella was the President. During 2016, she was co-opted as President of the MTF and remained in office till January 2017 – Josianne did not seek re-election for this post.
By profession, Josianne is an accountant and is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. She works as a Senior Manager with the regulator for financial services in Malta.
