Emvin Mifsud initially started training Judo but later swapped to Taekwondo when this martial art was first introduced to the Maltese islands back in 1985. Since 2010 Emvin has been training continuously, attaining 2nd Dan black belt in December 2016 and 3rd Dan Black Belt in June 2019. In 2012, Emvin was one of the first group of students who started Hapkimudo in Malta under the instruction of Master Christopher Vella.
In 2012, Emvin was co-opted as a Public Relations Officer within the Executive Council of the MTF and continued to serve in his post for a total of five years.
He is an insurance broker by profession who holds the status of Chartered Member with the Institute of Risk Management, a Fellowship status with the Chartered Insurance Institute and is a Chartered Insurance Risk Manager.
