June also saw us bidding farewell to two families who will be moving abroad and therefore stopping their regular training with DAM: Family Kerfah with their three fighting fit dragons Asma, Aisha, and Salem, and Family Salas Pouget with Vanessa and Isis.
It’s a touching moment for all of us here at DAM, with both the Kerfah family and Isis managing to squish in a grading examination and successfully ranking up in order to part with a new belt.
Isis even managed to squeeze in a Hapkimudo grading!!
We wish to also commend the relentless commitment of the Kerfah family towards their children’s development in competition sparring and their love for Taekwondo in general. Their consistent attendance at our sparring classes has proved to increase their ability in all aspects of competition sparring, and this does not happen without the full support and dedication of the whole family. Naturally, tears were shed when we were presented with this beautiful collage and letter towards all members and instructors of DAM:
We thank each and every one of you for giving us the opportunity to be part of your Taekwondo journey, and we hope that this is not a goodbye, but a see you soon 🙂
